The Juliusz Mieroszewski Centre for Dialogue, a partner organisation of Denkraum Ukraine / Think Space Ukraine at the University of Regensburg, fosters research and dialogue on Central and Eastern European issues.
- Dr. Łukasz Adamski, the Deputy Director, will outline the Centre’s mission, key research areas, and recent projects. These include the publication of historical documents on Polish-Soviet relations and the launch of the AREI: Journal for Central and Eastern European History and Politics (arei-journal.pl).
- Dr. hab. Gennadii Korolov, Senior Research Fellow, will delve into the Centre’s initiatives on Polish-Ukrainian relations. He will present two major projects:
- A source publication—a comprehensive anthology tracing the development of Polish-Ukrainian intellectual dialogue from 1831 to 1918.
- The preparation of a dictionary of key concepts related to Polish-Ukrainian historical dialogue during the nineteenth century.
- Kateryna Danylevych, the Centre’s representative in Kyiv, will discuss its activities in Ukraine. She will also introduce her latest research, which examines whether the Russian Empire, Soviet Union, and Russian Federation share consistent patterns in justifying aggressive wars.
